Situated on the first floor with an imposing classical Victorian staircase and lift access, each of the 3 venues are convincingly individual in character but together, are a remarkable example of the affluence and sophistication borne out of the Ballarat gold rush era of the 1850’s.

Grand Dining Room
This is a spectacular and elegant room, in the late 19th century "Empire" style with its high ceiling and fine wallpapers. The 'Grand' is the perfect venue for large dinners.

Prince's Room
The legendary Prince’s room was specially prepared for royalty in 1867 when Queen Victoria’s second son, Prince Alfred, the Duke of Edinburgh visited Ballarat. The room is decorated with rich wallpapers and a most magnificent ceiling installed at the beginning of the last century.

Reading Room
Located on historic Lydiard Street and overlooking Her Majesty’s theatre. Imagine a formal dinner around the antique dining table for up to 30 guests.
