Originally designed in the late 19th century and since thoughtfully restored in the classic Edwardian & Art Deco style of its first residents, Alfred Place gives it’s guests a glimpse into the charm & elegance of a world gone by.

Boasting a spectacular foyer & grand staircase, intimate dining room & Hemingway inspired bar (The Library), it’s the perfect space for groups (120 seated, 350 cocktail) looking for something truly classic.

Formerly the home of Melbourne dining institution Mietta’s and more recently Comme and Stokehouse City, today the Alfred Place team, led by head of culinary and acclaimed chef Neil Perry, continue the tradition & passion for great food & wine with a selection of menu options from some of Rockpool Dining Group’s finest restaurants.
