Description

Built in the 1920s, located in the heart of the Brisbane Central Business District on King George Square, Brisbane City Hall is a symbol of civic pride, one of Brisbane’s greatest icons and the home of elegance and grandeur.

Both the Queensland Heritage Register and the National Trust of Queensland list Brisbane City Hall as a ‘culturally, historically and architecturally significant building’.

Your experience begins as you enter the magnificent King George Square foyer where the grand marble staircases provide the ultimate backdrop to your event.

Brisbane City Hall has been the recipient of a $215m restoration program that has seen the doors closed for 3 years.

Our beautifully restored function rooms are capable of hosting events for 20 to 1,500 guests. 12 newly refurbished function rooms with new and modern audio-visual and information technology facilities are available for hire for events such as weddings, business meetings, gala events, awards dinners, school formals and speech nights, and exhibitions and concerts.

In addition to the function rooms, the stunning King George Square is an ideal outdoor venue adjacent to City Hall.
