Celebrate your wedding in an iconic location beside the Royal Botanic Gardens, with sweeping views over Sydney Harbour, Woolloomooloo Bay, and Potts Point. The Art Gallery of NSW offers a collection of elegant spaces for both ceremonies and receptions, blending art, architecture, and atmosphere.
Choose from two main reception spaces accommodating up to 220 guests, with seasonal menus curated by The Fresh Collective in collaboration with chef Matt Moran. Crafted by Matt Moran seats 116 guests or 120 cocktail-style, extending to 188 seated or 300 cocktail-style when combined with the adjoining function room.
The award-winning SANAA-designed building offers seamless indoor-outdoor flow, with Sydney Modern Hall hosting up to 250 guests with space for a dance floor.

A limited number of 30-minute wedding ceremonies can be booked exclusively alongside a reception. Ceremony locations include:
