Considered Sydney’s hidden wedding gem, located in an isolated part of Sydney up on the headland, Milestone Events is a unique 1930s traditional brick wedding venue, nestled amongst the native flora and fauna of the Sydney Harbour National Park. Inside the vintage building, you will find high ceilings, matched with deep brown original wooden floors and an art deco bar, a heritage listed ballroom and the quiet intimacy of the homey cane lounge. The classic features of the room lends itself to any style of decor; white walls provide a canvas to decorate to your own desire, whilst the large windows provide a gentle breeze.
For smaller sized weddings, the large ballroom can be split into two sections. The separate cane lounge, beside the bar, is a welcome additional space for those who need to rest their dancing shoes (momentarily of course!). Alternatively, you can choose to arrange an outdoor garden wedding reception where you and your guests can enjoy dining under the stars. The outdoor area can be beautifully ornamented with a gorgeous arbour and hanging lanterns, whilst the reception area looks especially sublime when decorated with magisterial flowers in ornate vases and statuesque candelabras. The ballroom can seat up to 180 guests for dinner, with ample space for a dance floor, whilst the garden can accommodate 120 guests. Both indoor and outdoor spaces can accommodate 300 standing, ideal for those looking to invite evening guests.
